Arthur Kimovich Shukuryan, Ph.D., professor, Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Otorhinolaryngology of YSMU and head of the Otorhinolaryngology clinic of "Astghik" Medical Center.

2001 was awarded the title of professor by the Higher Qualification Commission.

Prof. A.K. Shukuryan is the chief otorhinolaryngologist of the RA Ministry of Health and the city of Yerevan.

2001 he received the RA President's Award in the field of medicine.

2004 received the title of honored doctor.

2016 was awarded the Order of Mkhitar Heratsi.

A.K.Shukuryan developed his scientific and medical activities in cooperation with specialists from various medical centers around the world, he was repeatedly trained in various medical centers, in particular in the otolaryngology clinics of Munich, Kiel, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Germany, regularly at the Armand Trousseau otolaryngological clinic in Paris, House Ear and USLA University of Los Angeles Otolaryngology Clinical Center, Cornell and Columbia University Otolaryngology Clinical Centers in New York.

He gave reports at the world congresses of otolaryngologists held in different countries (IFOS, EUFOS, EAORL, HNS).

Prof. A.K. Shukuryan published more than 210 scientific works, more than 60 of which were published abroad, including 2 monographs, 7 methodological manuals. 

Prof. A.K. Shukuryan founded a scientific school, recognized both in Armenia and abroad.

Under his leadership, 17 candidate theses were defended, currently 2 doctoral theses are being prepared.
