Oncogynecological service
In oncological gynecology, diagnostics and treatment of precancerous diseases, benign and malignant tumors of the female genital organs are carried out.
The technical equipment of the Astghik Medical Center and the availability of highly qualified multidisciplinary specialists make it possible to maximize the accuracy of diagnosing patients with tumors, which makes it possible to obtain treatment results that are recorded in leading European clinics.
Doctors working in the department are members of the European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO\ENYGO) and regularly undergo retraining in leading foreign clinics, using innovative treatment methods acquired abroad in our clinic, advancing according to international recommendations (NCCN, ESGO).
The service is carried out
- surgical treatment of endometrial cancer by laparoscopic method (method of the latest ICG staining) and open method, surgical treatment of ovarian cancer - staged and cytoreductive operations,
- surgical treatment of cervical cancer: radical hysterectomy with lymph node dissection,
- surgical treatment of the external genital organs: radical vulvectomy with lymph node dissection,
- in special cases, young women with a tumor also undergo organ-preserving fertility surgeries. ,
- surgical treatment of benign tumors (fibroids, ovarian cystomas) by laparoscopic method,
- reconstructive operations for lowering the pelvic organs by laparoscopic and vaginal methods,
- with pathologies of the uterine cavity - diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopy.
