Electrocardiography is a test method for recording heart failure. This is relatively accessible but valuable examination. ECG allows you to determine the heart rate, rhythm, indicates acute or chronic damage to the heart muscle, intracardiac conduction, electrolyte metabolism disturbance. The ECG is also a screening method for coronary heart disease during a stress test. Echocardiography is an ultrasound examination of the heart performed using modern devices. It depicts a 2D image of a working heart, which allows you to view valves, cavities, large vessels, and perform Doppler ultrasonography. Echocardiography allows you to detect congenital heart defects, to assess the size of the heart cavities, the force of contraction, wall thickness, blood flow in the cavities and large vessels. Indications for echocardiography are: diagnosis of ischemic disease, its complications, diagnosis of heart valve disease, diagnosis of heart valve disease, assessment of systolic-diastolic functions of the heart, assessment of cardiac activity in non-cardiac diseases.
The examinations are carried out with the latest General Electric Vivid T8 apparatus.
