Department of Endocrine Surgery

The main activity of the service is the treatment of thyroid, parathyroid glands and adrenal diseases. It is carried out with modern methods and devices, due to which the surgical trauma degree has decreased and the inpatient hospitalization periods have been reduced up to 1-3 days. The service staff are well-aware of and perform an ultrasound and puncture biopsy which enables to plan the surgery type and volume, prevent the possible complications. If necessary, an endosurgical ultrasound examination is carried out during the operation using a portable device.

The department closely cooperates with the leading Russian and European clinics.
